nuit blanche installation @ coupe bizzare
A collaborative project for nuit blanche 2009 to commemorate the Toronto School of Art’s 40th Anniversary.
The installation consisted of a time capsule room presenting an experience of each of the five decades from the 60s to the present. Engulfed with videoart projections depicting happenings, trends and artists reminiscent of a particular decade, the capsule allowed an immersion into a certain time in history.

Participant Location in the Mitsubishi City Chase 2009
The City Chase is a unique urban adventure that requires participants to exhibit teamwork, resourcefulness, determination and the ability to make decisions on the fly as they search for ChasePoints scattered in unknown locations throughout the city. ChasePoints are designed to test teams with a variety of physical, mental, and otherwise adventurous challenges.
The Task: to create an architectural sculpture from recycled objects

An exhibit following a week-long life drawing intensive with Thomas Hendry during the Spring Term.
YOUTH STUDIO
Youth Studio program is a 24-week program designed primarily for high school students and young adults. Through drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, performance, digital and mixed media, students learn technical skills, knowledge of contemporary visual arts and art history. In addition, students are encouraged to develop their own creative process.
The classes are small with lots of one-on-one instruction. Portfolio development and preparation are provided for students who are planning to apply for visual art, design, film and architecture programs in colleges in universities. Exhibition and perfrormance opportunities are also an integral part of the program.
ARTS EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVE
A one-year project funded in part by the Ontario Arts Foundation to provide professional development for teachers. TSA will be working in partnership with school boards across the GTA and surrounding regions to assist teachers with their art curriculum and learning new techniques.
JOYCE HUI - Anatomy Drawing
Joyce Hui is a interdisciplinary artist with the TSA. She recently was accepted at UofT and will begin her studies in their medical illustration program in September.
YOU SAY YOU WANT A REVOLUTION: PERSONAL HISTORIES
‘You Say You Want A Revolution: Personal Histories’ is a group show juried by Lise Beaudry (Director of Gallery 44) featuring the work of Summer Faith Garcia, Emily Martin and Janine Ramlochan.
This exhibition is part of Toronto’s annual city-wide CONTACT Photography Festival.

CATHERINE TELFOR-KEOGH
Catherine Telford-Keogh is a textile artist and writer within TSA’s Independent Study Program. She has recently been accepted in the MFA program at Yale.
